Autosleepers are a leading national distributor of Motor Homes, across multiple locations and have around 400 employees in the UK. We supported their team by providing hands-on dedicated support with the management of operational HR, grievance, disciplinary and redundancy situations on a retained basis. By working in partnership with us, Autosleepers were able to address difficult employee situations with confidence and in a compliant way.
The multi-site nature and workforce demographics meant that AutoSleepers were experiencing a high number of disciplinary and grievance cases that sucked up a lot of management time and were suffering from high legal costs and claims in employment tribunal. Due to the complexities of the cases, managers felt they needed greater support through the formal process.
We provided AutoSleepers with a dedicated HR Director who took ownership of all their HR issues and provided advice and guidance on a consistent basis to all people managers. This ensured they took the right decisions, following the right process in a way that was compliant with employment regulations.
We reviewed all Company policies and procedures, ensuring they were useable, commercially focused and in-line with legislation. We then coached managers to use these effectively.
Claims in employment tribunal fell and legal costs were significantly reduced. Policies and procedures were kept up to date and compliantly applied. Leaders felt supported through processes and more empowered to manage situations decisively.
